2007 Rooster Hill Lemberger Reserve

We bought this cool-weather red while at this vineyard in the Finger Lakes, and have been waiting for a chance to pop it. It’s a very nice wine that a lot of people would mistake for a good beaujolais, maybe, in that it’s lightbodied and fruity and has a little bitter cherry edge.
I endorse this wine wholeheartedly, and it shows that the Finger Lakes does more than just Riesling well.
However, I seem to remember paying something like $27 for it, and at that price we might not be repeat buyers.
