2010 Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon

This is another widely available, mass-market bottle, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I bought this on closeout for $5.50, and was reasonably certain I would not regret the purchase.

Indeed, it’s a nicely balanced and pleasant—if not exceptional—bottle. I thought it had some tasty sour cherry- type flavors that complemented the more traditional South American cab taste. A big winner at $5.50.

At the suggested retail price of $9 or $10, you still wouldn’t go wrong for this style of wine, but less of a screaming good deal.
