2009 Domaine Mount Chavy

Here’s a beaujolais that every gamay fan should seek out.

Richer in style than many, this is pretty much opaque purple.

Has all the intense, weird fruit of a beaujolais, but with more oomph than usual.

Delicious, and a testament to the diversity of styles in this grape and region.

At $14 or so, this qualifies as a bargain.
