2008 Beryna Monastrell-dominant blend. Just a tad too much sweet vanilla oak for my taste, but would be a real crowed pleaser. I liked it, just didn’t love it.

SYRAH! Recently held a successful syrah tasting. All were highly drinkable, but my favorite was the Laurent Combier Crozes Hermitage 2010, which really showed the light, flowery fruitiness that the grape can display.
