2008 Beryna Monastrell-dominant blend. Just a tad too much sweet vanilla oak for my taste, but would be a real crowed pleaser. I liked it, just didn’t love it.

SYRAH! Recently held a successful syrah tasting. All were highly drinkable, but my favorite was the Laurent Combier Crozes Hermitage 2010, which really showed the light, flowery fruitiness that the grape can display.

2010 Tres Ojos Rose This is great cheap rose. It can be had for as low as $7, which makes it a no-brainer buy. Very rich and fruity. Everyone would love this.
