2010 Easton Sauvignon Blanc

White wine weather looks to be here to stay in Virginia, so we dove into this Sauv. Blanc from the Sierra Foothills of California. That’s an area I’m curious about and hope to visit in 2012.

The winery describes this wine, which does see a bit of oak, as having ”neither the excessive herbaceousness of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc nor the creamy richness of some California Sauvignon Blancs that lean towards a Chardonnay profile.”

Sounds about right. Delicious. Would buy again @ $15.
