2010 Clos Roche Blanche ‘Cuvee Pif’

Bought this at the dear departed natural wine store in Asheville, NC. A lean, acidic blend of cab franc and malbec, it’s a wine we found delicious but would not be fruity enough for most.

Actually, I just looked up a professional review that puts it better than I can:  A clean, brisk blend with very good back-end cut and resonating herb and cherry qualities.

If you like loire reds, put the pif on your list.
