2010 Ten Sisters Sauvignon Blanc

Ten-Sisters-Sauv-Blanc-davNew Zealand Sauvignon Blanc gets a bad rap from some for being all grapefruit-y acid. I happen to actually like that particular and distinct flavor profile–in moderation, at least. This SB would probably appeal to the New Zealand partisan and traditionalist alike, however, as it’s relatively muted, with more asparagus than grapefruit.

Still a tasty, if a bit generic, bottle and one that I’d happily drink again.

I like to drink and write about wine. I'm an equal opportunity drinker, but gravitate toward France, the Pacific Northwest and up-and-comers like New York and Virginia.
