Domaine Labbe 2011 Abymes

labbe_abymesNo one drinks enough jacquere, the light, crisp and fruity white grape from the Savoie region of France.

I’ve only had a handful of bottles, but never a clunker in the bunch. This incredibly light, 11.5% alcohol white is almost the perfect food wine. It’s riesling like with its limey minerality, but has almost a hint of spritz to it, too.

Awesome and unique, but not at all complicated. Highly recommended.
